Today brings us to the end of our series.
I am not sure what your conclusion is, and you can feel free to call and let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter as per the Word of God.
But I can say that I understand better the woman’s place as far as the Great Commission is concerned - it is wherever the Lord calls us to be, not to replace or be in competition with our men, but to serve in support of the men, not compromising the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
I have understood that the beauty of God’s design is that His mission always comes first and full circle.
The beauty of God’s design is that His mission always comes first—and what begins with Him always finds completion in Him, it ultimately comes to fulfillment. What began in Genesis with shared purpose finds its restoration in Acts with shared power.
After the resurrection, Jesus didn’t rebuild His Church through competition. He rebuilt it through collaboration.
Acts 1:8 (NKJV) records His final instruction: “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
That command wasn’t limited to the eleven disciples—it was spoken to the larger body of believers waiting in faith.
And yes it was 11, because remember now, Matthew 28:16 NKJV tells us, “Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them.” Judas was no longer among them because he had betrayed Jesus and, overcome with guilt, took his own life (Matthew 27:3–5).
But even with one missing, the mission continued. The circle widened as other believers gathered in faith and unity, awaiting the fulfillment of Jesus’ promise.
Acts 1:14 confirms that both men and women were there:“These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.”
Then came the moment that changed everything.
Acts 2:17–18 (NKJV) says,“And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy… And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.”
That was divine realignment. The Spirit who hovered over creation now filled His people—men and women alike—to carry the same mission forward: proclaiming Christ to the world.
The gender gap that culture had created was bridged by grace. The Church was reborn through unity, not rivalry.
Praise God. I keep saying it here: I am not in competition with anyone. It’s all about more connections here. The more of us doing what God has asked us to do, the better. Amen?! Churches and ministries and pastors, evangelists, members, we have to stop the fighting!
The Apostle Paul later affirmed the importance of partnership in his ministry.
In Romans 16:1–7 (NKJV), he writes:“I commend to you Phoebe our sister, who is a servant of the church in Cenchrea… Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus… Greet Andronicus and Junia, my countrymen and my fellow prisoners, who are of note among the apostles.”
Men and women, side by side, working for the same cause—the advancement of the gospel.
Phoebe, Priscilla, and Junia weren’t sidelined supporters; they were recognized labourers in the mission of Christ.
And in Philippians 4:3 (NKJV) Paul writes,“And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.”
The Church at Philippi—remember Lydia?—had become a living picture of this unity. Men and women praying, serving, giving, and growing together.
Today, that’s still God’s blueprint. The mission thrives when men and women walk in harmony, not hierarchy, when spiritual gifts complement, not compete.
The Holy Spirit doesn’t discriminate; He distributes power according to purpose.
And this is what it means to be together again:
*When men rise to lead in love.
*When women continue to stand in strength.
*And when both walk in obedience to the Spirit’s call.
That’s how the Church grows. That’s how nations are reached. That’s how the kingdom advances.
So today, Family, we pray for divine unity—that the Spirit who fell at Pentecost will fill our hearts again with love, humility, and shared purpose.
We pray for homes to be restored, churches to be revived, and believers to work hand in hand for the glory of God. We spend far too much time majoring in the minors.
Family, the fact is: when we are together again, God’s mission moves unhindered, His power flows freely, and His kingdom keeps advancing on earth as it is in heaven.
