How to Believe God When Nothing Is Changing | Keep Your Faith Strong | DAY 4: BELIEVE ANYWAY

Each of us has had seasons in our lives where everything seems to be at a standstill. Nothing is changing. Nothing is moving. Nothing is responding.

And if we are honest, these are the moments that challenge our faith the most.

Because it is one thing to believe when we see progress; it is quite another thing to believe when everything looks the same.

This is where faith begins. This is where our faith is put to the test. This, Family, is where we are challenged to and called on to believe God anyway.

The Word of God tells us in Hebrews 11:1 (KJV): “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Faith is built, Family, on things not seen. It is not dependent on what is visible, but on what God has already said.

And this is important, because many of us are waiting to see something before we believe. Some people are like doubting Thomas, who asked to see and touch before he would believe.

John 20:27–29 (KJV): “Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands… and be not faithless, but believing… Thomas… said… My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”

Family, faith is not waiting for proof; it is choosing to believe God even when we do not see it yet. Faith does not wait for evidence; it becomes the evidence.

And we see this clearly in the life of Martha.

The Word says in John 11:25–26 (KJV): “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”

Remember Lazarus? He was already in the tomb. Everything about that situation looked final. It looked done.

But Jesus did not respond to what it looked like. He responded to who He is. He said, “I am the resurrection and the life.”

This means even when something looks dead, it is not beyond God.

This is where the change must happen. Because many of us are defining our situations by what we see.

We see delay—and we call it denial. We see silence—and we call it absence. We see no movement—and we assume nothing is happening.

But the Word of God reminds us in Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV): “For the vision is yet for an appointed time… though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

Family, just because we do not see it, does not mean God is not working. It means it is not yet time.

And while we are waiting, we are not called to be silent. We are called to speak life.

The Word says in Job 22:28 (KJV): “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee…”

So instead of speaking what we see, we begin to speak what God has said. Instead of agreeing with what looks dead, we agree with the Word. Because faith is not pretending—it is aligning.

And this is where we stay anchored. Because if we are not anchored, we will drift with what we feel.

But the Word says in Psalm 112:7 (KJV): “He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.”

Family, a fixed heart does not move with every situation. It stays steady.

So how do we believe God when nothing is changing?

We choose what we believe. We do not build our faith on what we see—we build it on what God has already said.

We refuse to misinterpret the moment. Just because we see delay does not mean it’s a denial. Just because it is quiet does not mean God is absent.

We speak in alignment with God. Instead of repeating what we see, we declare what God has said.

We anchor our hearts. We do not allow our emotions to lead us—our trust is fixed in God.

And we make a daily decision. Not once, not occasionally—but daily, we choose to believe, to trust, and to stand.

So today, we make a decision:

We will believe God—even when we do not see results.

We will trust God—even when what we are facing does not make sense.

We will stand on God’s Word—even when nothing seems to be changing.

Because our faith is not in what we see. Our faith is in who God is.
